These are exactly what you need to convert a junior (28mm TV) stand into a grip stand, we use them for 12x12' frames and Junior booms

Solid piece of equipment. Built like a tank and clearly made to last. The only reason I went for the black version is because the silver ones were out of stock. I honestly don’t see a practical reason not to get the silver version instead.

But regardless of the finish, the build quality is excellent and exactly what you’d expect from Avenger.

I am using this in the top of the vertical tube of a computer monitor stand to mount a camera and a microphone boom arm. Great way to keep desk space clear.

NB: If planning to drop it into a tube it is actually 1 1/8" not 28 mm. I had to pay a local machine shop €20 to take a fraction of a mm off.
