Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Bundle

Having previously used actual Lexicon rack units in a studio, I was looking for a way to have access to the Lexicon sound in my home studio setup. This plugin does that job nicely.

The settings are familiar if you've used a Lexicon reverb unit before and are easy to dail in quickly. If you want to, there's an option for a deep dive into more settings, but during the limited time I've now tested it, I didn't feel inclined to do this yet.

Sound quality wise this is, to my ears, definitely a step-up from the reverbs that come standard with a DAW and would be a good pick for someone upgrading the plugins he owns or who is investing in having more to choose from.

The only downside of the plugin (which is really a tiny one) is that every algorithm is it's own plugin, which makes quick swapping between for example a room or hall take a little longer.

I run this plugin in a hybrid setup and didn't encounter any problems with it yet. From what I noticed until now it's not particularly demanding of processing power and I would therefore also use it for live sound reinforcement.

I'VE never used the hardware originals, though I have read plenty of good things about them, and these plug-in versions are fantastic.
I have found the Lexicon reverbs great for just giving instruments and vocals a nice room ambience to sit in, a bit of context or body to sit nicely with the other instruments and sound realistic. And for my instrumental stuff the spacier, huge sounds do the job, too.
Tons of tweaking options, very smooth sounds that can be used for just about any kind of music, and I can highly recommend them. Clearly, Lexicon put a lot of thought and work into them.
Along with Waves' TruVerb, these will be my go-to reverb plug-ins, and the usual Thomann price and service was great as ever!
