Versatile and useful

I bought this product for home use, needed a single unit and basic mixer for connecting various audio devices (mediaplayer, turntable, etc..) to an amplifier. This MS828 works just great, really basic on its features but that's what i was looking for. I tested it as a splitter (and also in a mixed application, as the manual suggests, using some channels for mixing and some for splitting the output signal) and had no problem at all. Indeed a very useful device for managing your audio signals, if you don't need EQ knobs and faders.

I purchased one of these to go into an installation in a church hall. What attracted me to it was actually the lack of features, since it was going to be used by a range of volunteers - many with no audio background - it had to be simple to use, and with only a volume and pan control on each channel, it really doesn't get much simpler than that!

Being able to use the 6 channels and then use the two Main In channels as well is a big help. Volunteers are able to plug in a microphone and go or plug in their phone for background music. When there's a band in, I'm able to plug into the main ins and go directly into the system without having to work around to get to the processor which is handy.

All in all, a very simple product that does it's job well!

I bought this because the Behringer ultralink pro mx882, which I have a few of already, was not available. It does the same job with no difference in quality I could find.
