Amazing synth for the price
Handled in a professional way as usual from the good guys (and gals) at Thomann, I managed to get my hands on the modern flagship monophonic synth from Korg.
What can I say, it sounds modern but with a twist on the past, the single VCO doesn't disappoint providing an incredible wall of sound for its price and size.
The sequencer it's really straight forward providing rhythmic and melodic movement from the moment you touch the synth.
The filter is really top notch, Korg has worked really well providing a filter which doesn't make you cry about the MS20 Mini missed opportunity, it has character and it develops squilchy 303 sounds for your techno needs in an easy way.
The drive knob push this forward and with all the features it packs it can get you into industrial territory and P-Bass emulations nicely without losing bottom end.
The quality is good for the price, solid, sturdy, in different colors and with a nice wood back for the wood lovers.
Only Con it would be to expect polyphony from a monophonic synth, so if you want chords, pads and stabs, save for a Minilogue!

Stupendo per iniziare!
Ho acquistato questo korg per cambiare un po' genere musicale e divertirmi con un nuovo strumento. Che dire, serve un po' di informazione sui vari controlli inizialmente, ma è comunque molto immediato. I suoni preimpostati sono molto curati, il bello è però cimentarsi nella creazione con i vari controlli d'onda. Molto versatile, attualmente viene utilizzato in un progetto di musica metal, da quel tocco in più davvero fenomenale. Unica pecca il sequencer a 16 battute (un po' poche col passare del tempo), problema comunque ovviabile se utilizzato in post-produzione.

Fantastico
Korg Monologue è un sintetizzatore monofonico e analogico semplicemente fantastico, al di là di ogni aspettativa. Piccolo e maneggevole, facile da suonare e con un intuitivo ottimo 16 step sequencer. Più che soddisfatto dal suono (rende molto bene). Buoni anche i materiali di fabbricazione e il design è gradevolissimo. Non ho ad oggi riscontrato alcun difetto. Sono pienamente soddisfatto e lo consiglio.

Portentoso
Un vero portento, con bassi talmente profondi e pieni da dover spesso limitare la dinamica in fase di mixaggio, affinché non copra gli altri strumenti. Certo, è una caratteristica dei synth FM di questo tipo. Per me insostituibile.
