Beautiful piece of kit

Excellent build quality and great sound. Personally I prefer using a mic to the built in pickup, but if you're aiming to use this for gigs, the pickup does sound sweet and very warm which is a nice contrast to some under-bridge piezo transducers. I have this tuned to C# standard, strung with roto 13's and it sounds epic in my tiny studio.

Gorgeous guitar at a decent price

I've been playing percussive fingerstyle guitar for a long time and finally decided to spring for a baritone. This one plays really nicely and looks fantastic. I need to do a bit of work on the strings (I'm actually not sure which ones it shipped with which would have been nice to know!) but it's a really lovely instrument to have around and I'm getting used to it quickly.

Ordentliche Baritone Gitarre

Ich spiele schon seit Jahre Gitarre und habe diverse gute Stücke zu Hause im Gebrauch. Eine Baritone Gitarre war bisher nicht dabei. Da ich großer Pat Metheny Fan bin und das Album "One Quite Night" liebe, habe ich mir diese Gitarre zugelegt, um eigene Spielerfahrungen zu sammeln. Dabei sollte es bewusst eine Gitarre im unteren bis mittlerem Preissegment sein.
Für das Geld ist die Gitarre gut und vernünftig. Sie ist gut verarbeitet und hat einen ganz guten Klang. Auch der Pick Up ist ok. Aber wie gesagt: es ist halt alles nur "ok". Liegt aber mit Sicherheit daran, dass ich sonst überwiegend sehr hochwertige Takamine Gitarren spiele.
Die Baritone Gitarre als solche ist eine mega spannende Erfahrung. Das Tuning war anfangs ungewohnt (spiele Nashville Tuning), aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Danach ist es Insgesamt ein toller voller Klang, eine super Erfahrung und es ist ein solides, gutes Instrument

Erste Gitarre kam, Gurtpin am Korpus (Kombi Pin/Stecker) gewackelt. Festziehen unmöglich. Bariton zurück, T hat mir am gleichen Tag eine Neue raus. Zweite kommt an. Zuerst Gurtpin OK. Beim Versuch einen Gurt dranzumachen, eine minimale Drehung und der ganze Pin samt Stecker gewackelt. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit irgendwie Festzuhalten um anzuziehen. Saiten ab, Hand rein. Versuch Festzuziehen. Erfolglos. Ab zum Musikhaus in der Stadt, da ich kein Bock hatte DH nochmals zu bemühen. Dort sind dann zusätzlich zwei Drähte vom Stecker ab. Musikhaus war so freundlich und das Thema gelöst (festgezogen). Hat mich 30 EUR gekostet. Dazu vom Nomaden einen Adapter für 25 und Schaller Security nochmals 25. Daheim musste ich noch den Hals gerade ziehen, Steg erhöhen und zwei Pins austauschen, Jetzt schnarren die tiefen Saiten nicht mehr. Es ist die vierte Ibanez im Haus. Nach diesem Erlebnis überlege ich mir das nächste mal 5 Mal ob's wieder eine wird.
Fazit: dieses Modell ist eine Fehlgeburt. Anscheinend wurden alle zurückgeschickt, da zur Zeit 15-19 Wochen Lieferzeit...
