Great looking toy melodica

Expected better quality for the price. A lot of small dents and scratches on the top paint layer. White uncolored spaces at the seam. All of these are invisible from half a meter. Also, it could be tuned better. Most keys are flat, and the worst is F6 - about -20 cent. Some of the keys are +5 cent. And it is very very loud. Is it pros or cons? BlowFlow Mouthpiece is surprisingly comfortable. Anyway, I would recommend Rasta Melodica as a gift for improving an ear for music or just for fun.

Cool design and nice sound

Very cool melodica, the design is beautiful and different. It looks like plastic when you hold it, but the sound is very, very good (I still prefer Suzuki melodicas' warmer sound but this one sounds great too). I didn't like the mouthpiece though, however cool it is, the saliva gets out through the spaces between the plastic pieces and gets wet when playing. It should come with standard mouthpieces (a long one and a short, trumpet style another).

Instrumento muy llamativo

Compramos a medias entre mi hermana y yo este producto por que queríamos ese diseño rasta tan molón. Pero hay que añadir que el precio en nuestra opinión es un poco alto comparando la calidad de sonido de otras melódicas de otras marcas que no son Hohner. Yo esperaba quizá mas calidad sonora tratándose de esta y conociendo sus armónicas, pero en general no está mal del todo, eso sí, los agudos suenan bastante peor que los graves. No nos gusta tampoco la embocadura que trae, te obliga a tocar mal posicionado y nos tubimos que comprar una extensible y larga. CONCLUSION: Si quieres calidad sonora no te ciegues por el diseño. Y si te gusta mucho mucho este diseño no esta del todo tan mal, trae una funda verde muy aseada.

Sound der unter die Haut geht.

Ich habe es wegen seines einzigartigen Sounds gekauft für einige Stücke. Es hat einen eigenständigen charaktervollen Sound , der an französische Harmonikas erinnert. Wenn man es in der Hand hält, wirkt es wie ein Spielzeug, alles aus Plastik aber der Sound geht unter die Haut. Muß man mögen. Ich würde, wenn es die Instrumentenart gäbe es in die Effektsoundklasse stecken. Die Bespielbarkeit hängt vom Blasvermögen des Musikers ab. Der Atem wird auf den Sound übertragen, dadurch scheint das Instrument zu leben und zu hauchen. Wer in seinen Songs den Charme französischer Harmonikas benötigt, kann ihn hiermit sehr gut erzeugen. Ich liebe es.
