Guitar Monkey CryoVibe EvoComp Titan Set

Swapped my existing Telecaster Brass saddles for the CryoVibe Titanium saddles. And i kept my previous strings, since i wanted to hear if there was an actual improvement noticeable or not.

And what a pleasant surprise. There is a complete tonal shift now. The low end with the CryoVibes is MUCH tighter. Gone is the previous boomy low end. The mids sound smoother now, also little bit more laid back and mellow. With the brass saddles my mids sounded annoyingly tinny. And the high end is dramatically less harsh now too.

This shift in tone goes so far that i had to dial up the treble and presence knobs on my various amps to compensate.

Attack is more pronounced now. Sustain is longer and of higher quality.

In my particular brass case this was a much needed improvement. The guitar sounds rounder, smoother, more musical now. However some of the twangy telecaster tonal character is also gone now.

Bottomline: if you are happy with the tonal character of your Telecaster don't swap your saddles. If you are unhappy with how yours sounds, give these CryoVibes a chance. You might be pleasantly surprised!

I had a dark sounding tele (yes, that is possible) with some compensated brass sadles.
I thought about these sadles as expensive, but I didn't wanted to change my guitar because it had also some positives I liked very much. So I bought these sadles.

Ok, after installation I was not negative, but a little underwelmed. Yes, the sound was improved.
Next day, I forgot the sadles and started playing the guitar:
WOW!
Yes, the change is subtle, but indeed not only better highs, but also better dynamics and things I cannot describe in words.

It feels as if I am playing a more expensive guitar with these sadles!
