Gretsch G5622T Elmtc CB DC Bgsby SPS

This Gretsch is a fantastic guitar. Flawless in every detail, wonderful and true sound, and for the price it is an absolute bargain. I own 12 top-end guitars and have been playing (professionally before focusing on studio work) for 41 years and I say all this to show I am not just a youth gushing with the enthusiasm of his first 'proper' guitar. This Gretsch really is a superb piece of work. It came perfectly set-up from the factory with exact intonation and sweet action height. I doubt you will regret a purchase. Just listen to demos on YT to make sure the Gretsch sound is one you love.

Lovely looking, and feeling guitar, cant complain about the physical body/build however when it arrived the set-up was off with the high strings buzzing on the fifth frets, made some adjustments what improved it but still not perfect.
And now, within a few months of scarcely playing it due to the poor setup, the electrics are all having issues - the logarithmic curve of the volume pots only seem to have an effect for about 25% of their full rotation, and the tone pot has stopped working - somtimes the selector switch doesnt even pick up the bridge pickup.
With all these things fixed id have no complaints, not sure what the deal is but its dissapointing to say the least.
