My Spector is about 18 years old and the machine heads started failing one by one. I wanted to get as close a replacement to the original (Schaller, I think - the exact model wasn't available) machine heads as possible. These ones are perfect - identical to the originals. They are very solid and hold very consistent tuning.

Smooth and accurate.
The different ratio per string makes tuning more consistent per string. They feel surprisingly smooth and they are very accurate.
I’ve had basses with Grover, Gotoh, Schaller, Hipshot…etc. I prefer the Graph Tech Ratio tuners.
