I always liked the Fender Strat knobs.
They make less noise, in extreme positions, when turning on/off.
Light weight contributes to a long life of the potentiometer.
But I liked the VK1-19 more. Very high quality made.
They rotate perfectly smoothly on the potentiometer. They are larger than 19 mm, and not 17 mm like the Strat.
Higher than 19 mm, and not 13.5 mm like the Strat. Heavier, the VK1-19 weighs 31 grams, and the Fender Strat 2 grams. The weight gives inertia when turning. The metal knurling on the knob gives a greater grip with the hand.
And all this gives a more comfortable feeling when turning.
A feeling of better control.
There is one drawback, when turning the knob 100%, before hitting the strings, it makes an audible sound, a louder sound than plastic. If you first hit the strings, then add volume, this problem does not exist.
And the second drawback, there is a fear that iron blows on the potentiometer in extreme positions will ruin the potentiometer earlier.
ps The photo does not convey this color well, in life it is much more beautiful)
I have Black and Cosmo Black.
Black feels matte.
Cosmo Black is prettier, but it's more slippery in the hand!
