I needed some stands for my new Mapex drumset, so been looking, and set my mind to something else, more cheaper.
But, our bass player adviced me to get some beafy gibraltars, cause they cand take some serious beating.
Very pleased with the set.
Pro:
- very well made, feel tremoundous joy handling them
- hardly moving aside, incredibly stable
- lots of cutomizable options
- good looks
Cons:
- very heavy, still feel my back, after lifting the bag, with the whole set, alone
- threads on the cymbal butterfly nuts, and hihat clutch are not the best (need good alignment, or maybe re-threading soon)
