Again I am impressed with the service, prices and range of products available from Thomann. I had been looking for a concert snare stand for a while but couldn't decide which would suit me best. I play standing up but had been using a standard stand extended to it's full which wasn't ideal as it wobbled during play. With this stand the snare sits firm and there is plenty of adjustment to configure the drum where I need it.

Use for practice pad

I was looking for a stand for my practice pad that I could stand up whilst playing. I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money, so the Gibraltar 5706EX fit the bill. I put a marching practice pad on this stand, which is heavy enough for a practice pad but doesn't compare to the weight of a concert snare. It's pretty sturdy and I'm sure it would be very solid for a concert snare too.
Very happy with the purchase!
