BFD BFD3

First of all, it sound's great!
I think this is the most flexible and reliable virtual drum workstation I've ever used.
It has it's own mixer so you can mix your drum right inside of the window of plugin with all built-in fx. Or you can export all drum tracks as wav, separately, every track by itself and use your DAW to mix it, such as real drums.
BFD3 has also standalone mode, I use it a lot when I practice my guitar.
Conclusion: even it's one of the expensive software on the market, it still one of the best solution and it's definitely worth the money!

This software is a great alternative to the likes of Superior Drummer, because it offers a set of professional features at a very low price... while on sale.

BFD 3.5 is somewhere between EZD3 and SD3 in terms of complexity and levels of control. Taking up roughly 55 GiB of space, it offers raw drum samples and a built in mixer.

Assembling your own kit and "micing it up" is leagues above the other competitors, you can really apply real-life knowledge while working with this software, which I can't say for the more conventional competitors.

Sadly, it isn't perfect. To be honest, I haven't gotten to use it for long, because being tied to the inMusic Software store, hogging RAM and offering an awful UI only a geriatric Windows user could implement.

The thing that bothers me the most is the grid editor. Awful: this must've been an afterthought. The keyboard shortcuts offer a marginal improvement over the intended mouse-based workflow. Definitely not sufficient for complex and dynamic drum parts... and I can't imagine why you'd use software as versatile for anything less.

This is still a worthy piece of drum software for experienced DAW users and producers willing to adapt, but is not worth using as a standalone.

Je possède d'autres instruments virtuels de batterie mais je pense que celui ci va devenir mon go to ! Il est simple et intuitif . les sons sont de grande qualité et tout est accessible facilement et intuitivement .
Il semble avoir été optimisé afin de consommer le moins de ressources possibles ce qui peux donner ce coté " austère " a la fenêtre principale , comme par exemple dans son redimensionnement , moi cela ne me gène pas , je ne recherche pas ce genre de plug pour leurs beauté ! Simplicité , qualité , efficacité !
