Headphone volume is very low and running a Shure Sm7b needs the boost via a cloudlifter as the extra gain provided in the unit is not very good. The major price reduction probably is a a reflection of poor sales due to its shortcomings. Regardless it functions as a portable mid level interface.

I have no issues with the gain level or noise. Overall the sound quality as expected(good+). However I am having issues with the PC connection. Often it is just disconnects automatically, or makes a buzzing sound. Luckily, it has a power switch on the back and solves the issues. It is quiet annoying to reboot everyday. Once again no issues with the sound quality. I would love to give it a 5 star just cant justify.

There's lots of reviews around so go look at those. As to ordering this from Thomann: the included USB cable was faulty and Thomann replaced it as fast as reasonably possible. Excellent experience.
