Fishman Fluence SSA Single Width

Ich nutze den Pickup in der Mitte eine HSH Konfiguration. Die Verschaltung ist etwas tricky, weil für die Zwischenpositionen ein anderes Voicing geschaltet werden muss, dazu wird am besten ein Superwitch mit 4 Ebenen benutzt. Die einzelnen Kabel sind sehr filigran, deshalb ein Punkt Abzug in der Verarbeitung.

Das Ergebnis ist aber aller Mühen wert, tolle Strat Sounds in Kombi mit der Single Coil Voice der Fluence Humbucker.

Für mich sind die Fluence Humbucker die beste Innovation im Gitarrenbereich - Soundcharakter wie richtig gute passive Pu, ohne all die Nachteile.

This is not just a pickup but it also contains the controller for the Fishman HSH and HSS systems, that means those can't be done without this one. For HSH you need a pair of Fishman active humbuckers, for HSS you need the other Fishman single coil SSP for the neck, these only work in pair, you need one of each.
I got this one out of curiosity, to combine it with a pair of Fluence Classics I had laying around. It was also a kind of a soldering test for me because the circuit is very complicated, it ever requires a Fender SuperSwitch, plus 2 push-pull pots to activate all the 3 voices available.
Well, once all was installed, this 5 positions system with 3 voices for the positions 1 and 5 is absolutely mindblowing, tones are great and go from classic Strat to full shred metal...
I would clearly recommend this for anyone interested in upgrading a HSS or HSH guitar to an active system....
