Fender Tone Saver 250k

This is a viable alternative to the trial and error of manuallly selecting, soldering and desoldering treble bleed caps. I installed it on an HSS strat.
It works great, the sound results very natural when the volume is turned down, even for the humbucker. My ears found it to thin out a little too much when the knob is below 1, but that's likely to be a pot issue (I wouldn't use it that low anyways).
It sure is quite expensive and you have to apply some protection to the soldering legs yourself, but it's worth it if you don't want to find exactly the right resistor-cap match for your guitar.
