ESP LTD EC-1000T CTM VGS

I purchase this guitar as I have owned several Korean made LTD guitars which sported impressive sound and build quality. This guitar was a disappointment.

The finish has a lot of flaws. Gaps between the masking and binding, the paint is thicker in places and you can feel a ridge. There are several blemishes with groupings of what appears to be sprayed over sawdust.

The action was horrible, as was the intonation and there were dents and scuffs on the fretboard, there was a very unsightly line parallel to a fret in the actual wood, like something had hit it across the fretboard.

The high E string was broken. Loose items in box (allen keys). All of the bridge set screws were loose and rattling. Use of incorrect tolling has left sharp edges on all screws of the pickup bezels and the bridge adjustment studs have nicks/dents from a screw driver of the wrong size.

Unable to lower the bridge enough without buzzing, probably a high fret somewhere. Poor setup.

Guitar is very light. Sound is kind of hollow, cheap sounding. Very fat neck with a lot of taper toward the treble notes. Not a shredders guitar.

ESP you can do better.
