Great pickup for vintage rock.

I have had this pickups for around 1 and a half years and it sounds great. The pickup was quite easy to install and it has a nice sound without unnecessary highs or lows. It handles gain very well and I use it mostly for rock-type genres.

The only thing that I dislike about the pickup is that it sounds very compressed when played with a clean tone.

Alle passiven EMGs haben bei mir nen Stein im Brett, sowohl Gitarre als auch Bass, Keramik oder AlNiCo.

Zu diesem H2 gibts auf Youtube nicht besonders viel, also mal blind bestellt und nach längerem Überlegen doch behalten und eingebaut. Und... ich bin begeistert, mal wieder.

Sitzt in einer Ibanez SA360 mit Mahagonybody und Ahornhals, zusammen mit 2 Wilkinson Rails mit Keramikmagnet, die eher Vintageoutput haben. Die Kombi passt super zusammen, klingt sehr in Richtung vintage. Der H2 hat sehr viel PAF Charakter, aber auch ein bissel Twang, genau so mag ich das. Er klingt klar, Saiten sind schön getrennt, mit Overdrive singt er schön und matscht überhaupt nicht. Mit Volume, Tone und Anschlag läßt sich prima arbeiten. Der Output ist vintage korrekt niedrig.

Verarbeitung ist tadellos, genau wie der Lieferumfang.

Fazit: Einfach EMG! Geiler Sound, super Qualität, wunschlos glücklich!

Je ne suis pas un expert mais ce micro est excellent à mes oreilles. Je me rend compte que je n'avais jamais joué sur une guitare avec de bon micro. Il a révolutionné ma gratte.
Extrêmement facile à installer. Que du bonheur.
