Good and excellent value!

I think the spring was a little too stiff for my taste (and weak foot!), so I actually took it apart and made it looser.
I must say that the stand is quite solid. I have the bottom lifted a bit above the floor to avoid leaving marks, and there is some flex when stomping but no swaying further up. Money well spent!

Portable and sturdy

First of all, this stand is smaller and thinner than it looks on the picture. If your sitting position is high and if you like to have your hi-hat placed high, then this stand won't do the job. It's really made for lower setups, like jazz. But, for jazz and quieter playing styles its spring tension is a bit much, even at the lowest setting. It doesn't allow for a very dynamic pedal work. This is actually the only gripe I have with this stand. Otherwise it's well built and the hi-hat clutch is very good. Also, note that the legs spread more apart than on most other hi-hat stands, which is a plus in terms of stability, but they can get in the way also. If you're looking for a lightweight, portable but stable hi-hat stand, this is probably the best one at this price.

Doesn't work with double pedal

This stand has one major flaw that should be noted in the description of the product: It's legs don't rotate, so it's not compatible with double pedals.

Ich habe mir dies für ein kleines, praktisches akustik-Setup zugelegt.
Bald benutze ich es auch für mein volles Setup.
Entscheidend war für mich sowohl der verdammt gute Preis, als auch die Qualität und Möglichkeit, die Federspannung einzustellen!
Erster Eindruck:
Ich habe schon mit guter Qualität gerechnet, da ich viele gute Rezensionen zu Produkten von DrumCraft gelesen habe, trotzdem war ich überrascht, bei dem Preis ein so gut und verdammt robust verarbeitetes Produkt zu erhalten! Ebenfalls finde ich es sehr praktisch aufgebaut, alles funktioniert sehr einfach.
Die Federspannung ist direkt für mich richtig gewesen, ich bevorzuge eine etwas straffere Spannung, damit ich sehr gezielte Akzente auch bei schnellem Tempo, sehr kontrolliert setzen kann.
Das funktioniert wunderbar.
Ich bin voll zufrieden und habe eine neue Lieblingsmarke gefunden, wenn es um Schlagzeug-Hardware geht!
