Although I would have preferred the pickup to have more output, it's still a very good neck pickup which lend itself well also as a bridge pickup (I've tried it also in the bridge position). Naturally it doesn't quite match my Di Marzio D-Activator in the bridge in terms of output but by raising the Liquifire enough to compensate for the lack of output it quite balances well overall. It has the usual Di Marzio build quality and the clarity of the notes is outstanding. It actually serves me well as the notes (I play with a lot of gain) sound clear and bell-like and no muddiness is present. It handles well fast single runs and solos are very clear-sounding.

This is awesome sounding pickup. Works very well in alder body + maple/walnut neck guitar. Any chord sounds increadibly clear in terms of individual string voicing, and your guitar will sing very musically when playing single notes. This is true for both clean and overdriven amp settings, it won't loose articulation even with a lot of distortion. This pickup has a very focused sound in the low frequencies, so it's not muddy at all even on downtuned sevenstring. Materials used in this pickup are also very high quality.
