Returning to danelectro

I used to have a 59 back in the early 2000s, played a lot of shows with it and generally loved it. It was stolen after a few years, and I didn't replace it until this year. It is as good as I remember, and for me it is the best guitar I ever played. 10/10 after I adjusted the action.

Wonderful and fun guitar for the money

Always loved the sound of Danelectros and continue to do so with this one!

Pros:

* The finish looks like a blue night sky with an endless sea of stars when light shines directly on it.

* The neck is flat and a bit thin but feels great! Its easy to play big open jazz chords on and the finish feels great also.

* The sound of it is amazing but it wont be for everyone. Neck And Bridge position is reminds me of a strat but with extra grit and low end.

* The middle position is where the magic happens as it turns the pickups to what kinda sounds like a tele style neck pickup with more high-end, (It also increases the volume a bit).

Cons:

* The body shape makes the higher frets a bit hard to reach

* Changing strings is a bit of a hazzle but could be a lot worse

All in all its a great sounding guitar for big chords and fast playing. The finish is beautiful, stays in tune very well and its really easy to play!

Je suis très satisfait de l'achat de cette guitare qui apporte un jeu et un son différent des autres guitares habituelles. Elle a son style et sa personnalité.

Guitare légère et très facile à jouer, avec un son tranchant grâce aux micros lipstick, mais qui peuvent se montrer crémeux selon les réglages (un peu comme des P90).

Look d'enfer. Le bleu pailleté lui va à merveille.

Bon rapport qualité-prix pour cette guitare Made in Korea de bonne facture.

Bref je recommande, du pur bonheur.
