They look great and have a nice vintage vibe, and the build quality is solid. However, the strap fit isn’t perfect. The issue isn’t the elliptical shape itself — that part works like an oversized endpin — but the space between the guitar and the pin. It’s very narrow, so thicker leather straps (especially padded ones) are a real struggle to mount.

Because the strap sits so tight, any movement puts rotational force on the endpin, almost like you’re trying to screw or unscrew it. After some use, the screw can start to loosen, and tightening it again is a pain because the wood gives way faster than the screw. Eventually you end up having to reinforce the hole with glue or a toothpick.

They look good and work fine with thin straps, but for thicker leather straps they’re not ideal
