Bach 351 1D trumpet mouthpiece

Having played on a Bach 1 1/4c mouthpiece for over 30 years I thought I'd try one that helps a little with the upper register. The VB 1D does that very well but without sacrificing lower note tone and clarity. It is also just as focused and gives me the same attack I get with the 1 1/4C. I alternate between both of them depending on what I'm playing. But it doesn't replace practice, you'll still need to put in the work, but it it helps. An excellent product.

Bach 1D macht Spaß

Habe bisher ein 7C gespielt, das mir aber von Anfang an zu "schmal" vorkam und nur einen kleinen Ton zuließ. Das 1 hat den vollen Durchmesser von 17mm, so daß meine Lippen bequem hineinpassen und deutlich mehr durchgeht. Der Ton ist größer. Das Mundstück fordert aber die gesamte Ansatzmuskulatur stärker. Ich muss nochmal testen, ob 1C (mitteltief) oder 1D (mittelflach) mir besser liegen.

C'est l'ine des embouchures que je préfère pour la trompette en baroque en ré, le son est tres clair, et les notes jouées avec les trous ouverts sont egalement puissantes et justes. Un must-have ! J'attends d'essayer la 1E en complement de cette embouchure deja excellente.
