You get exactly what you are looking. I lost one of my PPC's and ordered this replacement part. It fits a bit more tight on my mic than the old one it seems so it requires some attention when attaching/removing such that you do not damage the mic. The inside has some features to clamp on the mic so modification of those is possible to make for an easier fit.

Makes sense and difference if used. I used with classical guitar, was happy with it. Attaching can be tricky and needs attention. Don't loose it.
