Unconventional use

I own a couple of Adam A7X and the T10S sub is not the suggested subwoofer for those monitors, but after measuring my studio, I found out that I get the best results by using two subs T10S. I placed them on top of some custom stands and I have them laying on the sides making the cones be the front face (instead of having the cones pointing on the ground) with the A7X on top of the subwoofers. This is not the suggested use for the T10S, but after trying different options, that's what works best in my studio. The automatic standby doesn't bother me at all, but i understand that it can be annoying for somebody else. I suggest to try different solutions and to measure your room before buying (or decide to keep) any subwoofer.

ho deciso di aggiungere un subwoofer al mio ascolto.
avendo monitor adam non potevo che andare su questo sub conoscendo la qualità del marchio adam.

Superb quality but a usability problem

This sub sounds amazing it can go really deep and produce an all around pretty balanced sound quality, I can't comment on bigger rooms but it covers mine extremely good. My biggest issue with that and this is why I'm rating it lower is that the standby feature is causing me endless frustration. My speakers are being wired through the sub so when I'm working on the computer or doing causal browsing I'm constantly having my entire soundsystem going off frequently and to bring it back I have to crank up the volume so the sub picks some input and turns on again. This is really frustrating and I'm dealing with it on a daily basis multiple times a day. So if you intend to use the sub for additional things other than just production and especially if you wire your speakers through your sub consider this a lot. Personally I wouldn't go for this sub if I knew this beforehand and sadly there is nothing you can do to tune it. Otherwise a great sounding sub and paired with the corresponding adam t series monitors an awesome combination. For me its a constant annoyance at this point sadly....
