ADAM Audio D3V Black

You cannot expect monitors of this size to deliver ultimate quality but what they do, they do very well, and at a very good price point. The sound is not hyped in a gaming speaker kind of way and they can be relied on for balancing a mix. They are truly portable and I carry them with me when working on location. I use them with SoundID Reference and they work well. I have compared them with the small Genelecs and I actually prefer the bass response of the Adams, particularly at higher volumes. The top end is well balanced and not abrasive at all. It’s a shame that Adam don’t make a carry case for them but they fit perfectly into the Thomann bag for the Roland Mobile Cube.
The latest firmware update has eliminated the early bug of the tweeters dropping in volume when working at low levels.

If you need small and portable monitors I would highly recommend them.

Ho acquistato queste D3V come upgrade da Rokit 5 G3, e quando le ho ascoltate è stato come se non avessi mai ascoltato gli stessi brani prima. Presentano una chiarezza, immagine stereo, e medio bassi limpidi e trasparenti. Sembra quasi magico sentire un suono così grande provenire da uno speaker così piccolo. Poi i tweeter Adam a mio parere è il migliore che ci possa essere, e questo rende queste casse un must have sia per i principianti che per gli esperti a mio parere. Un prezzo assolutamente ragionevole, e ovviamente non ci si bisogna aspettare dei bassi da tirar giu i muri, ma per sentirli si sentono eccome!
