L'ocarina è in plastica, ha un cordoncino sottile per tracolla. Comprata per bambini, la suono volentieri anch'io.
Rispetto a quelle in terracotta, che costano almeno il doppio, ha l vantaggio di non rompersi dopo gli urti. Il suono e il timbro sono inferiori a quelli di una ocarina in terracotta ma migliori di quelli che si possono sentire nel test alla relativa pagina web Thomann: in particolare l'intensità del suono è più uniforme tra le note e anche sulle note più basse.

Im no expert but these things are great. Managed to get a decent sounding tune out of it within half an hour or so. Was a bit heavier than i was expecting for a plastic ocarina but the overall quality is excellent. The orange is a great colour not as bright as some of the other colours in this range. I also ordered a soprano at the same time but recommend this one if you have larger hands as the holes are easier to hit. If your thinking about getting one dont think any longer, just get it you wont be disappointed.

Ich habe die Ocarina meiner Nichte zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Der Klang ist sehr angenehm und die Ocarina ist leicht zu spielen, die Fingertechnik trotz Beanspruchung aller 10 Finger nicht besonders kompliziert.

Der Klang ist angenehm weich und rund. Bei den tiefen Tönen spricht das Instrument nicht ganz so gut an wie bei den Hohen, die sich deutlich besser durchsetzen - man muss in den tiefen Lagen etwas mehr Luft einsetzen, dadurch erhält dieses Instrument einen etwas beschaulich/introvertierten Charakter verglichen bspw. mit den hohen/pfeifenähnlichen Tönen der kleineren C1 Ocarina.
Das macht es aber für unfreiwillige Zuhörer wie Mitbewohner oder z.B. die Eltern der Kinder angenehmer.

Ich bin edenfalls im ganzen positiv überrascht und überzeugt dass diese Ocarina einige Jahrzehnte unbeschaded überdauern wird - die Konstruktion ist jedenfalls dick und stabil und wirkt trotz Plastik überhaupt nicht billig oder wackelig.

Bisher noch keine Probleme mit Speichelansammlung, kann aber noch sein da Dauertests noch ausstehen.

Insgesamt würde ich sagen: einfacher zu spielen und besser klingend als die meisten Blockflöten. :)
