Great guitar... with mediocre woodwork

This guitar is very well designed, and the fingerboard feels great. Relatively low action with no buzzing. It came well adjusted.

My main complaint (and it's no small one) is the body woodwork. Even through the finish, it's noticeable that they run through certain problems when machining the area connecting neck and body (it's a neck-through, so I'm talking about the attachments between the three main slabs). It appears that they solved it manually, but the results are a bit off. I wish I could attach a picture.

I really don't think it's enough of an issue to return it, but I wonder about its long-term endurance; whether the original (arguably small) crack/imperfection would grow or the glue fix would hold stronger than the wood. Probably the latter.

Save this gripe with the specific guitar I received, I'd say the model is worth it. Having dealt with extended range Schecters before (none of them MS, though), this one feels more comfortable in regards of string action. And the Fluences are as you can expect: perfect.

The PERFECT guitar

I like every single aspect of this guitar, the built quality, the sound and the look! The fanned frets were really easy to get used to and help with the bendings on the high strings, too! I can't recommend it more!

It djents! Im direkten Vergleich mit der Musicman Majesty hat diese Gitarre für mich gewonnen (und der Preis hat keine Rolle gespielt).
Aktive Humbucker von Fishman (im besonderen die Multivoice des Steghumbuckers, welche auf aktiven Humbuckern einen echten Cleansound ermöglicht - verflucht schwer) und die XL Jumbo Bünde mit einem "normalen" C-Profil (schnell, schneller, am schnellsten) blasen mir das Hirn weg. Der Preis ist mehr als fair! Nicht meine teuerste Gitarre, aber definitiv mein neues Hauptinstrument! Ich fühle mich verstanden! Danke Schecter und danke Thomann! <3
