Surprisingly versatile

Fantastic kick synth. Obviously directed at producers in the hardcore genre, in which it exceeds, but its not limited to this one style.

After an easy install you'll first be greeted with mass amounts of presets. Hardcore producers will be in heaven with the varying styles of dirty kicks. It also has numerous presets geared toward more general EDM applications as well as some old favourites (808,909 etc)

Building your own kicks is fairly easy. The UI makes the process very handy and it has dedicated windows for three separate layers which can be turned on/off at your discretion. These can consist of synthesised kick sounds and or samples of which you can add your own. These three layers can be effected individually or together.

To be honest I'm still using the presets.

Als Audio-Coach ist es eine große Herausforderung immer up to date zu sein, was Entwicklungen auf dem Markt angeht und viele Kunden*innen kamen letztes Jahr und wollten lernen wie man eigene Kicks erstellt. Erst habe ich am normalen Synth trainiert - dann habe ich den RAW-Kick versucht und war sofort Feuer-und-Flamme. Eigene Sounds (808, 909, 606 usw.) sind möglich, wenn man sich gut einarbeitet. Nach 2h war ich gut dabei. Der Klang ist super. Ich denke, dass besonders Fans der verzerrten Hardcore-Kick auf ihre Kosten kommen werden. Solche Kicks sind derart leicht zu bauen als wäre der Synth dafür gebaut. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass Rob Papen-Instrumente nicht an kleine Laptop-Monitore angepasst werden können. Daher bei der Bedienung ein Punkt weniger. Ansonsten super Teil mit sehr gutem Sound.
