una delle migliori chitarre mai suonate , manico scorrevolissimo. abbastanza leggera i pick up sono fantastici sia sui puliti che sui distorti , inoltre per i soli hanno sunstain eccezionale. ovviamente è piu' una chitarra per rock/metal , ma molto versatile a seconda degli effetti e ampli anche per altri generi.
unica cosa ci va fatto un minimo di set up io appena arrivata ho perso circa una mezzora per settare il ponte e l'altezza delle corde, per il resto stupenda, anche il colore spettacolare.

This guitar is awesome, great look(for me), great fret work (finally no signature Ibanez with steel frets), super neck, super care for details, GREAT electronics (I was looking exclusively for a guitar with Fishman Pickups). I love Ibanez tremolo bridge, at the same time I was trying another guitar with Fishman Pickups and FR 1500 tremolo. There is nothing to compare. Guitar was very nice but FR was bulky, with sharp edges (I don't like 90 degree cuts on FR) uncomfy for resting a hand on it, but this Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge is great. Plays great, no sharp edges and just looks 'elegant' and awesome. I highly recommend.

...pay for fretwork. It is not a secret that Ibanez maple fretboards do not receive the same fret trearment as their non maple friends. I bought this guitar knowing that, and still I was "surprised" by the "quality" of fret work. It was nonexistent. Frets were just cut, not treated and polished at all. To cut story short it costed me 100 Eur to make this guitar playable, and oh boy it plays and sounds so good.
This guitar is built very well, just be prepared to take it to luthier and pay for the fretwork.

This guitar is great. Yet, when digging the details, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting:

- I assumed the neck would be thinner and flatter, like the RG3550MZ I own. Despite the unexpectedly different radius and finish of the whole neck, the frets are clearly superior. Steel frets are what sets this one apart (vs other Prestiges).

- The finish is more shiny than I expected. It's still a beautiful instrument, simply a bit different in reality to what the pictures (and even videos) show. The body is heavier than I assumed: mahogany is much, much more dense than basswood.

- The pickups and the electronics are great; but I knew that already. It's hard not to be seduced by the quality and tone of the Fluences.

- I find this Lo-Pro Edge bridge closer to the Edge Pro 7 (from a RG1527) than to the Edge Zero. It's a good bridge, but I still prefer the Edge Zero. I wish it had something like the ZPS3 system, as I found it very useful.

- As expected from an Ibanez made in Japan, the manufacturing quality is truly excellent.
