Gretsch G5260 EMTC Jet Baritone BF

I love the guitar and how it feels, but for a guitar in this price range I'd expect it would at the very least be shielded, which it's not. Rubbing my fingers lightly against the plastic back covers (I tried both) produces pops probably due to the electrostatic discharge into the electronics, which can also happen with clothes.
I own a dozen stringed instruments and for those with a plastic back plate I've never experienced anything like this, even with the ones crafted in China, which is a bit disappointing because that's such a weird thing to cheap out on.

As far as sound goes the neck humbucker sounds a bit muffled to me, but that's a matter of preferences I guess. On the other hand I like the bridge humbucker.
