The speaker stand is very simple and easy to use-just two knobs, 1 for the legs, and 1 for the speaker mount! The weight of these is perfect-(only 4.5kg per stand!), and the specs. on the upward force of the gas charged spring inside of the speaker mount-(18kg) are very accurate as well-it effortlessly lifted my QSC K12.2's up with no hesitation at all, and with minimal effort from myself afterwards, I was able to comfortably pull them back down to the lowest point for dismounting.

There is one thing to note with these types of stands, as with all stands in general, but its not a deal breaker,...If you have them stored out in a trailer or unheated area of your vehicle for movement from show to show like my self, before trying to raise a speaker with them, let them acquire room temperature first-just open the legs and let them stand without speaker on them to warm up for about couple of minutes,then they will react normal, otherwise they'll seem like they are froze in one position, when they actually are not.
