A nice practice instrument

I tried this model out in a local US store and loved the warm tone, so was excited to see it on this site for a fantastic price. It has a lovely tone, just not as warm as I’d hope. Also, was a little bummed to open the box and have pieces of wood fall out of the ukulele. When the three pieces fell out through the body and onto the floor my heart dropped as I was hoping the wood pieces were not an indication of the ukulele being broken during shipping. All appears ok and the instrument tuned on, yet, the sound just feels off. I still love this site for my ukulele choices, but will follow through next time to share my concern on the ukulele arriving with broken interior pieces

The pegs creak a little, then scroll too much. One screw fell out of the peg during unpacking. Not very good build quality in my opinion, but the sound and beauty suit me

Petits retours sur ces 2 modèles et pour être certain j'ai testé 15 jours sur 2 de chaque : très mauvaise qualité de production, et les tables des CE (première génération) sont bien plus chaleureuses, rondes et moins metaliques que sur les soundwave, mais la partie électronique est bien meilleure sur soundwave que sur CE... Ceci dit malgré une bonne communication avec thomann, j'ai reçu un soundwave avec le pick-up monté de travers, les boutons ne pouvants presque pas tourner et deux cordes mal fixées qui ont saute lors du 1er accordage.... Très déçu que Flight ait modifié, je ne sais où, les Soundwave... Si Thomann, Flight ou qui que ce soit pouvait me trouver un soundwave (ou des pistes pour ma requêt) sur une base (matériaux et conception) identique au CE.. Je serais comblé... Si quelqu'un a des idées n'hésitez pas....!

Effekte auch ohne Verstärker

Ich habe mir diese Ukulele bestellt, um zuhause auch ohne Verstärker ein wenig mit den Effekten experimentieren zu können. Und das macht auch richtig Spaß. Wichtig aber ist, dass diese Uke auch ohne die Elektronik wunderbar klingt. Der Ton ist eher hell (was ich bei der Holzart und der braunen Worth so gar nicht erwartet hätte) und lang anhaltend. Der erste Eindruck ist begeisternd, das Holz sehr schön, die Oberfläche makellos glänzend. Aber: Beim ersten Spielen musste ich leider feststellen, dass nicht alle Bundenden sauber entgratet sind. Das passt weder zum sonstigen Qualitätseindruck noch zur Preisklasse, ist aber nicht so gravierend, dass es die sonst gute Bespielbarkeit einschränken würde. Daher nur 4 Sterne für die Verarbeitung.
Fazit: Ein Instrument, das ohne Soundeffekt viel Freude bereitet und mit den Effekten zum Experimentieren einlädt.
