Death by Audio Germanium Filter

This is a great Germanium Fuzz that sounds completely unique and personal. If you are looking for a classic Fuzz with a replica of the 60s and 70s sounds, this is NOT the right pedal! In fact the Filter is not comparable to other Fuzz pedals, but it has a sound that makes it a unique and creative pedal. It works very well in chain with other effects, filtering and shaping the sound beautifully. Try it as the last pedal after the reverbs and delays: I love hearing how it saturates the highest volume peaks, leaving the lowest tails unchanged. The case and internal components are a small jewel of craftsmanship and design. Inside there is a useful volume control, which I would have preferred to have available externally, but you know: design matters :)
